Golf Tips for Putting

Make the Short Ones

The difference between shooting a career low round or just another day at the golf course is often whether or not you make those putts from inside of six feet. Did you know that the tour pros miss fifty percent of these putts!

Using these putting tips, you will give yourself a better chance to make these important putts. Practice this drill at your golf course, at home, or at the office. A simple putting stroke gives you the best chance to become more reliable from six feet and in.

In the coming months, I will go into how to read greens, how to hit lag putts, and how to adjust to fast or slow greens. All of these things are important for scoring. I think that it is best to start with the easiest aspect of putting, and work our way up from there. I hope you start to shoot lower rounds soon.
